OFW Family Associations get assistance for livelihood activities

MORE livelihood and job generation opportunities were pledged by Gov. Amado Espino III to members of the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) Family Federation, Inc. during a meeting on September 24 at the Urduja House, Capitol Complex, Lingayen.

“You have to become proactive in generating income. We will give you opportunities to earn,” Gov. Espino told the Federation officers citing barter trading among municipal and city OFW Family associations in the province as an opportunity even as he urged them

to conceptualize development programs that suit their respective localities.

The governor directed the Provincial Employment Services Office, and the Provincial Population, Cooperative and Livelihood Development Office to meet with the federation to fast-track plans for livelihood. (PIO/MGNO)
