Two dead, seven injured in a truck collision

AGUILAR – Two trucks figured in a collision along the Pangasinan-Tarlac road, Barangay Bocacliw that resulted in the deaths of two, and injuries of seven mid-morning of August 10

In a PUNCH interview with P/Sr. Master Sergeant Wayne Dela Cruz of Aguilar Police Station, he said the elf truck on the north-bound lane was running at high speed when its right wheel tire blew up and collided with the oncoming truck and two motorcycles.

The authorities identified the two dead victims as Jose Dadibas from Mangatarem with Willy Sagsagat of this town who were rushed to the nearest hospital but were declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

Meanwhile, the other truck’s driver Dante Ugriano with porters Glenn Sison, Joey Martin, and Eugene Bangaoisan were confined at the hospital for treatment on their injuries.

The two motorcycle riders and a back riders suffered slight injuries.

In their follow-up investigation on Monday, Dela Cruz said both parties reached an amicably settlement and dropped charges. (Melody Valenton)
