Onion prices drop due to oversupply
BAYAMBANG– The onion farmers had another good harvest but this caused them to be worried sick again because the price of onions has taken a nosedive again owing to oversupply.
From a whopping PHP 50 to 60 per kilogram, price has reached bottom to a measly PHP 10 to 20 per kilo.
Bayambang Agricultural Office says that thousands of onion bags are still stocked in warehouses across the town. (Ahikam Pasion)
