TO enable fish farmers to recoup their losses after the onslaught of Typhoon Ompong last September 2018, the Dagupan City Agriculture Office gave them fingerlings of malaga and bangus.
City Agriculturist Emma Molina said it was the office’s first batch of assistance to fishermen who were hit hard by the typhoon.
Distributed to fisherfolk from barangays Calmay and Bonuan Gueset. were 125 containers of malaga fingerlings, while residents of Bonuan Gueset, Calmay, Bonuan Binloc, and Pugaro received 2018 containers of bangus fingerlings.
