Tricycle driver shot while asleep
A tricycle driver in Dagupan City was sleeping inside the sidecar around 1.30 am along A.B. Fernandez Ave. East while waiting for passengers was shot dead by two unidentified armed men on June 27.
Fatality was identified as Kenneth Barrozo, alias “Hapon”, 29, of Arellano Street, who died instantly from several gunshot wounds in different parts of his body.
Other tricycle drivers in the vicinity said they heard repeated gunshots but failed to identify the gunmen in the dark who fled riding a motorcycle towards the east direction.
The motive of the slaying is yet undetermined. (Leonardo Micua)
