Sta. Maria police relaunches internal cleansing program
THE Sta. Maria Police Station relaunches the internal cleansing program to promote professionalism among its rank and file last week.
Rev. Pastor Emiliano P. Pineda Jr. and My Brothers Keeper Bless Our Cops (MBK-BOCS) Movement were on hand to provide moral and spiritual support.
Pangasinan PNP’s spokesman, P/CO. Benigno Durana, explained to the media the three-pronged approach to the cleansing program — preventive, punitive, and restorative. Religious and professional groups are invited to conduct values formation, personality development training.
According to chief of police, P/ Captain Rowel Albano, the ‘squad’ concept, a practice at the Philippine Military Academy -a squad leader actively supervising squad members.- will be introduced. (Melody Valenton)
