San Carlos, Bayambang, Bugallon in Finals

SAN Carlos City, Bayambang and Bugallon have earned their slots for the Finals while Calasiao and Urbiztondo will still battle it out for the right face Bugallon.
This after San Carlos City easily dumped Sta. Barbara, 93-72, and Bayambang barely edged neighbor town Basista, 86-84, while Bugallon booted out Alaminos City, 92-65, in Group A and B in the semifinal battles of the 3rd Pangasinan Inter-LGU Unity Games 2019 held on July 26 at Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center (NRSCC) in Lingayen.
The victories of San Carlos and Bayambang pits them against each other for the championship in Group A while Bugallon has have to wait for the knockout game winner between Calasiao and Urbiztondo tentatively slated on August 1 or 2 at NRSCC.
The Calasiao quintet carrying the twice-to-beat incentive for topping its group in the quarterfinals lost to Urbiztondo by two points, 91-93, due to the heroic effort of Urbiztondo forward Maximo Palisoc in the dying seconds of the match. The victor faces Bugallon in Group B title clash. (JAG, Jr.)
