Drainage unclogged as promised

LINGAYEN- Three days after the new administration took over, campaign plans for cleanliness and orderliness were implemented Thursday through the unclogging and clearing of waterways by the DPWH.

From the marketplace to the business establishments along the Solis St., bulldozers and personnel worked to clean and declog drainage to prevent flooding in these areas.

Students from Pangasinan National High School who saw the processes of declogging were happy as these activities would not likely make them wade through floodwaters.

“Maganda po ‘yung ginagawa nila kasi hindi na po masyado mahirap kapag tag-ulan, wala nang baha,” said Angel, one of the students who walk on these sidewalks leading to the common terminal. (Melody Valenton)
