Capitol employees conduct tree-planting in Bugallon
IN observance of Environment Awareness Month, volunteers from different government agencies and organizations recently gathered for a tree planting activity in Brgy. Cayanga, Bugallon.
The activity was held to support the Adopt-a-Mountain project to promote the province’s greening initiatives.
Since its launching in 2017 backed by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office, tree planting was held every year.
Nathaniel Pulido, senior environment management specialist, cited the spirit of volunteerism in the project and expressed hope that more people will continue to help rehabilitate and preserve the environment. (Melody Valenton)
