AGUILAR – The town’s police station, led by P/Captain Rommel DL. Sembrano, has begun reaching out to school children in the campaign against illegal drugs.

Grade six pupils of Manlocboc Elementary School here were recently introduced to

 Project R.E.A.D.Y. (Resistance Education Against Drug for the Youth).

P/Master Sergeant Digna T. Malicdem, conducted a lecture on ways to overcome peer pressure, how and when to say “NO” to drugs “because it is their right.”

At the end of the discussion, pupils received pencils as tokens. (Melody Valenton)
