The Pozorrubio United FA Team won the championship followed by Pangasinan United FC Team for the 1st runner-up while the Pozorrubio United MA Team placed 1st runner-up in the men’s category.
Meanwhile, cited as MVP for beach football in women’s category and best goal keeper in the same sporting event were Isabel Corpuz and Krizel Bambilla, respectively. Both athletes are from Pozorrubio team.

JP Demontano, general coordinator of PBG, said Lingayen beach is the best venue ever for the sporting events as it can accommodate simultaneous games in one day. “No doubt that Pangasinan is truly the home of beach games,” he said further stating that he is looking forward of coming back next year and in the years to come.
Meanwhile, Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Officer Maria Luisa A. Elduayan who represented Gov. Amado I. Espino III, during the opening ceremony on May 25, said the provincial government is prepared to support the organizers of the sports event because it helps promote Pangasinan as a “sports tourism” site in the country.
Since its launching in 2017, the number of participants has increased from 136 athletes to to 1,000 this year.
PBG is a multi-sport summer event that showcases some of the fastest-growing beach sports in the world by bringing together top athletes.
