IN observance of Environment Awareness Month, volunteers from different government agencies and organizations gathered for a tree planting activity in Brgy. Cayanga, Bugallon on June 21.

The activity was held to support the Adopt-a-Mountain project to promote the province’s greening initiatives.

From its launching in 2017 backed by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office, the project has been consistently implemented.

Nathaniel Pulido, Senior Environment Management Specialist, cited the spirit of  volunteerism in the project from various sectors and expressed hope that more people will help in the effort to the rehabilitate and preserve the environment. (Melody Valenton)
