Pre-pageant for candidates to be held April 23

LIMGAS NA PANGASINAN

LINGAYEN — The 15 young ladies vying for the Limgas na Pangasinan 2019 crown were showcased for two highly-contested minor awards during pre-pageant on April 23, 8PM, at the Sison Auditorium, here.

The pre-pageant held the talent showdown, and the One-Town, One-Product inspired festival costumes of the candidates.

At the end of the pre-pageant, the winners of the two minor awards — best in talent, and best in festival costume — were announced. Those awards will be presented during the pageant and coronation night on April 30, 8 P.M. at the Capitol Plaza.

Provincial Population, Cooperative and Livelihood Development Office chief Ellsworth Gonzales, Limgas 2019 event chairperson, said the pre-pageant

 showcased the creativity of the local designers of the province in crafting the festival costumes worn by the Limgas. 

Prior to the pre-pageant, the Limgas candidates were exposed to various environmental programs of the provincial government, including visits to tourist destinations in the province.

Through the preliminary activities, the candidates were trained to become tourism ambassadors and eco-warriors of the province.

The 15 Limgas candidates are (in order): Princess Zaira Pascua (Rosales), Jara Padica (Balungao), Allyson Claire dela Cruz (Bugallon), Patricia Anne Nichole Bangug (Binmaley), Felice Nicolle Carino (Mangaldan), Elissa Mae Estimada (San Manuel), Gwendoline Meliz Soriano (Labrador), Janine dela Cruz (Mangatarem), Charese Immanuelle Asunción (Sual), JM Paragas (Lingayen), Tiffany Munoz (Asingan), Hazel Louise Anne Goling (Bolinao), Bonna Brexie Molina (Urdaneta City), Lavinia Albertte Marquez (Dagupan City), and Perla Peabody (Villasis).
