CAMP BGEN OSCAR FLORENDO, La Union– The No.3 Most Wanted Person in Region 1, a Pangasinense from Manaoag town was arrested in Barangay San Roque, Castillejos, Zambales on March 8.

P/ Brig. Gen. Romulo E. Sapitula, PRO1 Regional Director, identified the suspect as Joel Fernandez Naniong, 41, now a resident of Purok 3, Brgy Del Pilar, Catillejos, Zambales.

Naniong was apprehended by virtue of warrants of arrests for murder with the use of unlicensed firearm issued by Judge Elizabeth L Berdal of of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 47 in  Urdaneta City, and Judge Tita D Obinario of RTC Br 45, also in Urdaneta.

Naniong is also listed ‘most wanted person’ with a monetary reward of P165,000 set by the Department of the Interior and Local Government.

 The arrest was made by the joint operatives of Internal Security Operations Division, Intelligence Group, Asingan Municipal Police Station of Pangasinan PPO, Subic Municipal Police Station and Zambales PPO. (Leonardo Micua)
