4 UL officials conferred doctorate degrees

FOUR ranking officials of the University of Luzon were each commended in separate resolutions of the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) for being conferred doctorate degrees by the prestigious Royal Institution of Singapore.

The conferment was held at Empire Hotel and Country Club in Brunei Darussalam on February 27 coinciding with the 14th Global Congress of Educators which was attended by the four.

Those conferred with doctorate degree were UL President MacArthur Samson who was conferred as Doctor Fellow in Education; Dr. Carmelo John VidaL, Dean of Graduate Studies of UL, (Fellow, Royal Institute of Research (FriRes), Dr. Dolor Bustillo, Human Research and Development officer of UL, Senior Fellow in Human Resources; and Dr. Amelia de la Cruz, Senior Fellow from Singapore’s Royal Institute of Accountants.

Vidal was also cited Best Presenter Award of the International Research Colloquium.

All resolutions were sponsored by Councilor Jeslito Seen, who holds a masters’ and doctorate degrees in public administration at UL. (Leonardo Micua)
