Worldbex 2019 Seminars: “A World Built Bolder”
NOW on its 24th edition, the Philippine World Building and Construction Expo or WORLDBEX is back to host another high-yielding trade event geared towards enriching limitless business-to-business opportunities.
With its theme “A World Built Bolder”, Worldbex 2019 turns the spotlight on products and services that uphold a commitment to innovation and sustainability and by acquainting the audience with the latest insights and trends from the global construction and design scene.
This year, Worldbex returns with CPD-accredited seminars for architects, engineers, interior designers, and other peers from the industry.
The series of seminars will kick off with Architect Emelito Punsalan’s presentation “Green Building in the Philippines and The Way Forward”, followed by Senior Architect Toon Virochpoka’s session “Inspire. Innovate. Integrate.”; Architect and Environmental Planner Ramon Abiera’s discussion about “Excellent Design for Greater Efficiency”; and Geodetic Engineer Gilbert Magbutay’s lecture on the 2018 edition of the National Structural Code of the Philippines.
On the second day, Undersecretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways Ma. Catalina Cabral will discuss “Sustainable Development in Urban Cities”, followed by Architect Realrich Sjarief’s talk on “Sustainable and Conscious Architecture, Exploration of Alpha Omega, and the Philosophy of Suwung”; Architect Amado De Jesus with his topic about “It’s All About Sustainability” and interior design sister duo Ivy and Cynthia Almario’s “The Practical Feng Shui of Interior Designers by A Non- Fengshui Practitioner”.
On the last day, Architect Daniel Lichauco will discuss “Sustaining an Architectural Practice: Starting at the Board Room”; Architect Miguel Sousa’s “New Trends in Architecture”; Engineer Abner Pahilanga’s “Design of Hydro-Pneumatic Water Supply”; and Architect Ernesto Antonio Nasol’s “Continued Professional Development – Its Relevance to the Profession”.
