PHO – PANGASINAN IS ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFIED. Provincial Health Officer (PHO) II Anna Maria Teresa S. De Guzman presents the plaque of International Organization of Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 certification received by the PHO to the provincial executives led by Governor Amado I. Espino, III during the recent regular flag-raising ceremony at the Capitol Plaza. The upgraded ISO certification of PHO was conferred by the Certification International Philippines (CIP) to the health office after the comprehensive review of records by the validating team. The Pangasinan – PHO earlier received ISO certification (9001:2008) in 2014 affirming their core process as embodied in the manual centering on six mandatory procedures. When compared to the previous ISO certification (9001:2008), the upgraded ISO certification (9001:2015) has included standards on risk management which was subsequently followed during the planning or crafting of a management system. /SMDG (Photo by MVSadim)
