7 arrested, including 2 minors
SHABU DEN RAID
SAN FABIAN—A raid by joint elements of the San Fabian Police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) of a suspected drug den in Poblacion, San Fabian led to the arrest of 7 persons, including two minors and the seizure of 54.5 grams of shabu valued at P500,000.
Among those arrested by a search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Executive Judge Caridad Galvez of Branch 43 was Jolito Tarica Largo, 40, a businessman and resident of Erfe Street, in Poblacion, San Fabian, tagged as owner of the house raided believed to be a drug den.
Six other persons, including two
minors, whose names were all withheld, were arrested after finding them inside
the suspected drug den.
Also seized in that raid were two improvised glass tooters, one rolled aluminum
foil, 14 bullets for Cal. 9mm pistol, 10 bullets for Cal. 45 pistol, one
magazine each for Cal. 45 and 9 mm. pistol, one Glock 17 pistol with PNP
marking, two sachets of shabu, two lighters, a pair of scissors, one plastic
container, two improvised straw scoop one bundle of P20 bill and Largo’s Toyota
Innova.
Largo was charged for violation of Section 11 and 12, Art. II of R.A. No. 9165 and R.A. 10591.
P/Supt Mary Crystal Peralta,
spokesperson of Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1), said that the visitors of the
drug den, including the three minors were charged for violation of Sec. 7, Art.
II of RA 9165.
P/Chief Superintendent Romulo E Sapitula, PRO1 regional director,
