BANI—A member of a gun-for-hire and cattle rustling group and a drug personality on the watch list was arrested by joint elements of the police who raided his house in Barangay Calabeng, Bani in the early morning of November 29.
Arrested was Hever Ocuaman, farmer, a member of the Opolento Group, engaged in bounty killing as well as in cattle rustling in Bani and adjacent towns in Western Pangasinan.
He was arrested by elements of the Bani police and the 1st Company of the Provincial Mobile Force Company based in Alaminos City who implemented three search warrants for violations of RA 10591 (illegal possession of firearms and ammunition), violation of RA 9165 (illegal possession of drugs) and RA 9516 (illegal possession of explosives).
Seized from his house were one improvised shotgun, one cartridge case and one magazine for improvised shot gun, six pieces of sachets of suspected shabu and one hand grenade. (Leonardo Micua)
