FOUR thousand goody bags were recently distributed to residents of Barangay Calomboyan Sur in Mangatarem for the Aid to Humanity (Lingap sa Mamamayan) program of the Iglesia Ni Cristo.
The beneficiaries from far-flung barangays crossed the mountainous. area to reach Calomboyan Elementary School.

Brother Renante Romero, Overseer Minister of Pangasinan 1 said, the advocacy of the Aid to Humanity program of the Church Administration, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, Executive Minister, is to fight poverty by lending a hand to the members and non-members in need.
Barangay Calomboyan Sur is located in the boundaries of Mangatarem, Pangasinan and Zambales and farming is the main livelihood of the residents.
The Lingap sa Mamamayan, a world wide activity of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, in Mangatarem was led by Brother Eugene Cortez II, District Supervising Minister of the Church in Pangasinan 1 with the District Staff, Ministers and Church Officers. (Nora Dominguez)
