29th PRISAA Regional Collegiate Games ends

LINGAYEN–The three-day 29th Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) Regional Collegiate Games ended on November 23 at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center (NRSCC).

The athletes in five divisions in PRISAA Region (Metro Dagupan Chapter, La Union Chapter, Pangasinan I Chapter, Ilocos Norte – Laoag City Chapter and Metro San Carlos Chapter) athletes battled for dominance in athletics (men and women); basketball (men); beach volleyball (men and women); chess (men and women); sepak takraw (men); table tennis (men and women); badminton (men and women); taekwondo (men and women); karatedo (men and women); and volleyball (men and women).

Pangasinan Sports Development and Management Council (PSDMC) Asst. Executive Officer Marlon Domalanta represented  Governor Amado I. Espino, III in the opening ceremony.

Meanwhile, Dr. Guillermo B. Dela Cruz, president of the PRISAA regional board of trustees, cited the support of the five divisions to the yearly staging of PRISAA as he declared the opening of the 29th season of the PRISAA Regional Games.

During the opening ceremony, Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation (VMUF) and Asbury College were cited for their performance in the national competition that contributed to the overall conquest of the whole team. (PIO/SMCG)
