Drug syndicate dealer arrested in Dagupan City
A MEMBER of a notorious drug syndicate has been collared by operatives of PDEA (Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency) Pangasinan and Dagupan City Police in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Malued in Dagupan City.
PDEA Provincial Officer Dexter Asayco, identified the arrested drug dealer as Candice Joan Sta. Maria Cervantes, categorized as high value target and a member of the Alikan drug syndicate that operates in the city and nearby towns.
One sachet of shabu with market value of P4,000.00, worth P3,500 was recovered from the suspect’s custody.
Cervantes is now under the custody of Dagupan City BJMP and charged with violation of R.A. 9165 or Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Nora Dominguez)
