Top wanted men in Batangas arrested in Umingan

UMINGAN—The third and fourth most wanted persons in San Luis, Batangas, both residents of Umingan, were arrested in Brgy Poblacion West, last September 4, 2018 at 11:15 a.m., according to Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1).

The wanted persons were identified as Ronald Rico Ylagan, 33 years old, married and Joseph Rico Ilagan, 32 years old, single, both residents of Sitio Tebag, Brgy. Diaz, Umingan.

The suspects were charged for the crime of robbery with homicide docketed under CC No. 138-2004 by virtue of Alias Warrant of Arrest dated September 8, 2005 issued by Regional Trial Court presiding judge Eutiquio L. Quitain of Branch 5 in Lembery, Batangas without bail bond recommended for their temporary liberty.

P/Chief Inspector Extur B. Relatado, Umingan police chief, said they served the warrants of arrest in coordination with the San Luis Police Station.

The arrested suspects were turned over to P/Senior Inspector Franco S. Esguerra, San Luis police chief, after undergoing medical examination.

Relative to the arrest of the suspects, P/ Chief Supt. Romulo Sapitula, police regional director, said: “We reject any form of criminality, as well as criminals who migrate in the region to escape the law they violated in other places.” (Leonardo Micua)
