Most of the designated evacuation centers are two to three-story school buildings closely coordinated with the City School Division.

The main evacuation center remains at the Dagupan City Astrodome that
can accommodate up to 100 families.

It has been only just two weeks since evacuees left the Astrodome due to the inundation of their villages caused by days of monsoon rains and high tide.

The three-storey evacuation center in the island village of Salapingao, built by the Dagupan City government with funding support from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, was designated to accommodate evacuees from Salapingao, Pugaro, Lomboy and other island villages.

Fernandez ordered all the barangay captains to organize preemptive evacuation of residents whose houses are located beside river banks, sea coast and low-lying areas. (Leonardo Micua)
