LINGAYEN—Pangasinan Sports Academy (PSA) started its training program for 181 athletes on August 4.

“Become the model, standard and pioneer entrants of the PSA,” Amado  Espino III urged the athletes most of whom were Palarong Pambansa and Philippine National Games medalists, who received cash incentives from the provincial government on August 3.

The 181 PSA athletes, joined by 52 trainers and coaches, were selected based on their performance during the tryouts held by the Provincial Sports Development and Management Council, and their track record in their respective sporting events.

Assuring the provincial government’s full out support, Espino urged the athletes to give their 100% commitment and cooperation for the training program.

The PSA is a program launched by former governor and now 5th District Representative Amado T. Espino, Jr.
