LINGAYEN—Be at the Capitol beachfront at 6:30 a.m on Monday, April 30, and watch local artists from all over Pangasinan compete in sand sculpting, a regular feature of the Pista’y Dayat celebration.

The fine gray sands of the Lingayen Gulf will be crafted into three-dimensional artistic forms to interpret the theme: “Say Dayat tayo in the Future.”

The sand sculpting contest will have two categories: Young Adult (16-25 years old), and Young Teens category (7-15 years). A group entry is composed of eight members, regardless of gender.

Twenty groups for the young adult category, and five groups for the young teens category are expected to participate. (PIO/MGNO)
