THE creativity of Pangasinense artists and photographers is again showcased at the ongoing ‘Panag Arte La Lamet’ Art Exhibit 2018 at the Pangasinan Training Development Center.

The exhibit, one of the events in the Pangasinan Pista’y Dayat 2018, was unveiled on April 23 will be open until May 3.

Facilitated by the Provincial Tourism Culture Affairs Office (PTCAO), together with the Liket Datek Arts Group, Pangasinan lensmen and other individual artists, the exhibit seeks to inspire other aspiring artists and photographers.

PTCAO said among those whose works are exhibited is that of 17-year-old Lea Rose Mararac, the youngest of the artists and a first-timer in the exhibit.

Mararac said she was encouraged by her older brother to join the event to show her artwork like the painting “Eyebrows”, which she said was inspired by her younger sibling.

The art exhibit has also artworks flown from London by Pangasinense artist Danny Macabitas.

Some of the artworks in the exhibit are being sold at prices ranging from ₱1,000 to ₱20,000. Proceeds will go to their respective artists. (Maria Angeline Padua/Photos by Brandon Biñas CdD)
