MAYOR Belen Fernandez paid tribute to the More than Conquerors Breakfast Club (MTCBC), a group of evangelical businessmen founded by former bank manager Norman Velasco and headed now by Dr. Ashok Vasandani during their 14th induction of officers last April 21 at the Star Plaza.

 

Fernandez cited the group in helping her promote Christian leadership and the upkeep of peace and order, love among fellowmen even as she appealed to them to continue their exemplary work.

 

The new club officers are Dr. Ashok Vasandani, president; Engr. Uldarico Llamas (outgoing president), vice president; Bobby Uson, secretary; Benjie Tan, assistant secretary; Julius Duculan, treasurer; Ji Basa, assistant treasurer; Joseph Aquino, auditor; Nes ‘Nanoy’ Duque (head of Fellowship of Christian Athletes FCA in Dagupan City), business manager, and Norman Velasco (founder of the club), chairman of the board.

 

Directors are Engr. Boyet Ramos, Club Services; Ser Bong Bautista, Youth and Sports; Manuel Tiongson, Vocational Services; Ret. Chief Police Supt. Candito Quijardo, Peace and Order; Jojo Valencerina, Community Service. Advisers are Diony Espiritu, John Jalique, Bern Quisedo, Joel Bravo.

 

The officers were sworn into office by Ptr. Diony Espiritu, former president of Gideons International-Philippines, and minister of New Life in Christ Four Square Church.
