PhilHealth sets visits to hospitals
THE Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) is set to visit the dialysis patients of the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital in San Carlos City and the Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Centre (ITRMC) in La Union to celebrate its 23rd foundation day.
PhilHeath Regional Vice-President Rodolfo Del Rosario said the visitations will banner the theme: ‘Dalawamput-tatlong taong Serbisyo para sa Mamayang Pilipino’, PhilHealth highlight the importance of being a member of the government’s health insurance program.
“Patuloy na pinapalakas ang PhilHealth upang makapagbigay ng mas magandang serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan,” Del Rosario told the Philippine Information Agency (PIA).
Other activities held included a blood-letting drive was also hosted by the regional office in partnership with Philippine Red Cross-Pangasinan chapter for members, employees and their families.
A pre-judging of the poster-making contest for Grade 10 students in cooperation with the Department of Education is also scheduled. The contest revolves on the theme: “Ang PhilHealth sa Iyong mga Mata.” The winning poster will be Region 1’s entry to the national level contest and will have a chance to be featured in PhilHealth’s wall calendar for next year.
