Tabora defeated Siti Safiyah of Malaysia.

“It has been a good year for me. Our ladies team won bronze in the SEA Games and then we got silver in the Asian Indoor Games. But this is far and away the best”, said the 27- year old champion after her win.

Tabora was the fifth Filipino to win World Bowling Cup Championship after Christian Suarez in 2003, Lita de la Rosa in 1978, Olivia Bong Coo Garcia in 1979, and the Philippine legend Paeng Nepomuceno in 1976, 1980, and 1992 and 1996.
