DFA Calasiao says it has no FB page

THE Department of Foreign Affairs-Consular Office (DFA-CO) in Calasiao town warned the public that it does not have a Facebook account so any transaction made through it will not be acknowledged.

Jennifer Catherine Demesa, officer-in-charge of DFA-CO Calasiao, said the “DFA Calasiao Pangasinan Facebook page is not authorized to use the departments’ name nor post consular related information.”

Demesa said the public is advised to visit the DFA official website at www.dfa.gov.ph for all the information they need or the www.passport.gov.ph for the online appointment details and application.

While the consular office is implementing the online appointment system, the ‘courtesy lane’ is open to 1) Senior citizens with one immediate family member; 2) Persons with disabilities is exclusively for with PWD ID and one immediate family member; 3) Minors aged seven and below with their parents; 4) Single parent with solo parent ID and their minor children; 5) Pregnant with medical certificate; and 6) overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) with sufficient proof of status, i.e., DOLE Card, valid employment contract or valid work visa.

Demesa said courtesy lane applicants will be accommodated as ‘walk-in’ applicants from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
