Grenades, handguns, rifle seized in police raids
LINGAYEN—The campaign against loose firearms in the province netted a caliber 38 revolver and ammunition, two hand grenades, one M-16 converted revolver and one Cal. 30 Garand rifle from three separate operations conducted by the police on September 25.
The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) reported that these were seized after serving three search warrants.
Seized from the house of one Mario Cariño Cabaña, 51, in Barangay Minien, Sta. Barbara were one Cal. 38 revolver with four live ammunition and a hand grenade.
Seized from Orlando Caguioa of Barangay Laitan Panoypoy, San Carlos City were a converted M-16 revolver, one M-30 Garand rifle and ammunition and seven bullets for Cal. M-14 rifle.
A hand grenade was seized from the house of Charlie Jimenez of Barangay Guilig, Mangaldan. (Leonardo Micua)
