Provincial PNP gets handheld radios

LINGAYEN—To improve the capabilities of the Pangasinan Provincial Police Office (PPPO) in its anti-crime operations, the Philippine National Police (PNP) Regional Office 1 (PRO1) provided PPPO 50 handheld radios.

According to PPPO logistics and finance officer, P/Chief Inspector Ryan Manongdo, each of the P64,000-worth handheld radio has a province-wide reach, allowing fast and easy communication among units.
Prior the distribution, radio operators and supply officers of the different stations underwent a basic radio operation and maintenance procedure seminar. (Johanne R. Macob/ PNA)
