City hall employees get free anti-hepa B vaccine

SOME 494 city government employees and national government agency (NGA) employees here received their second dose of anti-hepatitis B vaccine last August 6.

Dr. Leonard Carbonell, city health officer said that the free complete anti-hepatitis B vaccination for all government and NGA employees in the city is part of the “Alagang Balon Dagupan” program initiated by Mayor Belen Fernandez. The city health office (CHO) targets about 800-900 employees nonetheless Carbonell encouraged those who have not yet availed of the free vaccination to go to the CHO as it is still available for them.

The last dose will be given on September 10 for the completion of the anti-hepa B vaccine while booster shots are scheduled next year. (Hilda Martin Austria)
