Dagupan Mayor Benjamin Lim suffers stroke, in ICU
ADVISORY! We received confirmation that Mayor Benjamin Lim suffered “a hypothalamic bleed last May 12 evening. It’s essentially a stroke or a burst in the region of the brain called the hypothalamus, a part of the brain which controls the pituitary gland and regulates many body functions…. A ventriculostomy, a surgical procedure that creates a hole within the cerebral ventricle to drain the fluid was performed on him.”
The mayor has been transferred to the ICU where his condition has been described as stable. We will give updates as we get them. Meanwhile, let us pray for his continued recovery.
