Duque passes bar exam
A son of a prominent clan in Dagupan City was among the country’s new lawyers following the release last week of the 2007 bar examinations results.
DUQUEGonzalito Nicolo E. Duque, son of Lyceum Northwestern University president Gonzalo T. Duque and Ruth E. Duque, who are also both lawyers, was among the law graduates who passed the 2007 bar exams.
Only 22.91 percent or 1,289 of the 5,626 examinees passed the exams.
“I feel proud and happy that he made it. He is the first Duque in his generation who became a lawyer,” Gonzalo said.
He said his son wants to enter the police service.
The young Duque graduated from the University of Sto. Tomas Faculty of Civil Law.
He studied elementary and high school at LNU’s Creative Montessori Center.#
