Limgas na Pangasinan bets screening set today

LINGAYEN – The second screening for this year’s Limgas Na Pangasinan Beauty Pageant is slated today, Sunday, 8:30 in the morning at the Lingayen Resort Hotel here.

Leo Urmaza, pageant chairperson, said this year’s search aims to choose the lady who will represent Pangasinan as ambassadress of goodwill and promote the province’s environmental awareness and conservation in addition to her physical beauty, innate charm and intellectual capabilities.

He announced that candidates must possess the following qualifications: single, 16-23 years old, resident of Pangasinan for at least one year, at least 5’3″ in height, high school graduate, of good moral character and with pleasing personality.

Limgas na Pangasinan is the culminating activity of the annual Pistay Dayat which has been repackaged as a provincewide activity.

Applicants are required to bring the following during the screening: copy of the high school or college diploma or certificate of graduation, endorsement of the mayor or local police chief, two-piece swimwear, casual dress and a pair of at least 3-inch high heeled shoes.
