DEAN’S LISTER, A KARATE CHAMP—Shihan Teruyuku Okazaki, chief instructor and president of the International Shotokan Karate Federation (ISKF), congratulates Krissia Fae de Asis of YMCA-Dagupan Karate Team after winning a gold medal in the 18th Women’s above KATA in the just concluded Okazaki Cup held February 17, 2008 at Emilio Aguinaldo College, Manila. Krissia is one of the outstanding players of Dagupan City and a Dean’s Lister in the college of nursing at Saint Lous University. Other winners from the team include Rayan Querubin (Mother Goose) and Gerard Martin Tamayo (Lyceum Northwestern University-Special Science), who both won silver medals; and bronze-medalist King Justine Mosada (Dagupan City National High School).
