DASOL — Ten barangay secretaries here were chosen as “Most Outstanding Barangay Secretaries of Dasol” as part of the Civil Registration Month this February. 
  

Municipal Civil Registry Officer Ma. Linda B. Chan said the award was in recognition of the barangay secretaries’ participation in the information drive campaign of the local civil registry office on the importance ofcivil registration. 
  

The awardees are Argie Bustria (Brgy. Uli); Salvador Ramirez (Brgy. Macalang); Vilma Espinoza (Brgy. Amalbalan); Catalina Organista (Brgy. Malacapas); Guadalupe Tawatao (Brgy. Tambobong); Demetria Magallon (Brgy. Bobonot); Aurea Sto. Domingo (Poblacion); Leneme Arenas (Brgy. Petal); Isabelo Villanueva (Brgy. Osmeña); and Winifred Rico (Brgy. Magsaysay). 
  

In connection with this year’s theme – “Civil Registration: Our Responsibility” other activities were also held: Draw and Tell/ Poster Making Contests for elementary pupils and high school students; Civil Registration Contests; Civil Registration Day; Marriage Symposium and the mass wedding on February 28 to be officiated by Mayor Angelita O. Jimenez.
