Man shot dead in Sual
A 63-year-old gasoline vendor was shot dead by an unidentified assailant in the early hours of Monday, December 22, 2025, in Teachers Village, Barangay Paitan West, Sual. Police said the victim was heading home aboard his tricycle around 4:45 a.m. when the suspect suddenly approached and fired several shots at close range, then fled southbound toward Paitan Bridge.
The victim was rushed to the Sual Primary Care Facility–Infirmary in Barangay Caoayan but was declared dead on arrival due to multiple gunshot wounds. Personnel of the Sual Police Station conducted an initial investigation and are reviewing CCTV footage in the area. A dragnet operation, with checkpoints and chokepoints in coordination with nearby police stations, has been launched to arrest the suspect.

Welder caught in Sta. Barbara drug bust
A 26-year-old welder was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by police in Barangay Ventinilla, Sta. Barbara. Authorities identified the suspect as a single resident of Barangay Tuliao who was under police monitoring. He was taken into custody after allegedly selling a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover operative for ₱500.
Recovered from the suspect were three sachets of suspected shabu, an empty cigarette pack, and the marked ₱500 bill used in the operation. Police said the seized drugs weighed about 0.20 gram and had an estimated street value of ₱1,360. The suspect was detained and will face drug-related charges.

Man nabbed in grocery break-in attempt
A 23-year-old man was arrested while allegedly attempting to break into a grocery store in the early hours of Monday, December 22, 2025, along Artacho Street, Barangay Poblacion, Lingayen. Police said the suspect was caught in the act by personnel of the Lingayen Police Station Mobile Patrol Unit 1 during a routine patrol.
Authorities identified the suspect as a tile setter from Dagupan City, temporarily staying in Lingayen. He was reportedly seen climbing onto the store’s roof carrying metal-cutting shears. A black motorcycle believed to be intended as a getaway vehicle was recovered. The suspect admitted having two accomplices who acted as lookouts and fled. Police are pursuing the remaining suspects.

3 vehicles collide on Alaminos bridge
A tricycle driver was injured after a tricycle, a motorcycle, and a sports utility vehicle (SUV) collided on Cabatuan Bridge in Barangay Cabatuan, Alaminos City, disrupting traffic on Tuesday morning. Police said the tricycle and motorcycle were traveling eastbound, while the SUV was headed in the opposite direction.
The investigation revealed that the tricycle attempted to overtake the motorcycle, while the SUV was also overtaking a truck. The tricycle sideswiped the bike, which veered into the SUV’s path, triggering the crash. The tricycle driver was taken to Western Pangasinan District Hospital, while the motorcycle and SUV drivers were unharmed, police said.

Six armed men rob Sison supply store
Six armed men allegedly robbed a construction supply store in Sison late Saturday night, December 20, police said. The incident occurred at San Hai Aggregates in Barangay Cauringan shortly before midnight and was reported to authorities around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 23.
Police said the suspects, wearing bonnets, black bull caps and uniforms resembling those of the Philippine National Police Field Support Unit, restrained three employees at gunpoint using plastic cable ties and locked them inside a room. Two suspects reportedly stood guard while others forced open the vault and took an undetermined amount of cash, documents, and two 12-gauge shotguns. Follow-up operations and CCTV backtracking are ongoing.

Teen student caught in Dagupan drug op
Police arrested an 18-year-old student and seized about ₱680,000 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Dagupan City Police Office in Barangay Bonuan Binloc on Saturday night, December 20.
Authorities identified the suspect as a high-value individual after recovering about 100 grams of suspected illegal drugs packed in four heat-sealed plastic sachets. The suspect’s name was withheld pending further investigation. Police said the volume of drugs indicated alleged involvement in large-scale drug distribution. Also confiscated were the marked buy-bust money, a black sling bag, and a motorcycle allegedly used in the transaction, all secured as evidence.
