Sison’s Latinissimo dancers dominate Urdaneta invitational tilt

The Latinissimo Dancesport Team of Alejandro F. Oligan National High School delivered a commanding performance at the 2nd Urdaneta Invitational Dancesport Competition, harvesting 21 gold, 14 silver, and 6 bronze medals at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Complex on December 6–7.

Leading the gold haul were Almerald Lukban with four golds (Solo Youth A Standard, Solo Youth C Standard, ONL Solo Youth A Standard, ONL Solo Youth B Standard), Lebron Dwayne Giltendez with two (ONL Solo Youth SD ChaCha, ONL Solo Youth SD Rumba), and Jassen Rhick Bonifacio with seven (Solo Junior A Latin, Solo Junior C Latin, Solo Junior D ChaCha, Solo Junior SSD Rumba, Solo Junior SD Jive, ONL Solo Junior A Latin, ONL Solo Junior B Latin).

In the Couples Event, Jimbrex Cabrera and Kathleen Oligo topped the U21 A Latin and Youth A Latin. Bonifacio teamed up with Oligo to win the ONL Youth Latin, while Mark Morales and Jhereylyn Ovido dominated the Under B Standard.

Silver medals went to Giltendez, Bonifacio, Ezikiel Vicente, and several Latinissimo pairs, including Bonifacio–Oligo, Vicente–Ovido, and Giltendez–Syrel Bocauto.

Bronze finishes came from Giltendez and Vicente in multiple solo events, and the pair of Cabrera and Akihero Chan in Third Kind Latin.
