A woman athlete from Dagupan who donned the national uniform in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games,  made his city mates proud when she bagged the bronze in the 1500m event in athletics on December 11.

Susan Ramadan, a resident of Bonuan Gueset, was chosen to compete in the international stage and bagged the bronze medal in her event.

Hailing Ramandan’s victory,  Mayor Belen T. Fernandez, said, “sa bawat hakbang ni Susan sa track, dala niya ang pangarap ng kanyang pamilya at ng buong Dagupan. Your victory proves that when a child dreams, an entire city rises with her.”

It was Fernandez herself who broke the news of Ramadan’s incredible feat, a testament that wherever in the world a Dagupeno will compete, he or she will shine and will be recognized as among the best.
