A tricycle driver from Brgy. Embarcadero, Mangaldan, is being hailed for his honesty after he returned a lost envelope containing P50,000 and important land documents to its rightful owner.

Arnold Viloria, along with his wife, found the envelope in Brgy. Alitaya.

Realizing its potential importance, they immediately brought it to the Public Information Office (PIO) with the help of Arnold’s father, Kagawad Marlito Viloria. The documents inside included the original title to a land property, along with a substantial cash sum.

Local authorities were able to locate the rightful owner, Eric Cristobal, using contact details found in the ID included in the envelope. Cristobal explained that the money and documents had been entrusted to a caretaker for processing. His brother, Willyson Cristobal, collected the envelope and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Viloria family for their integrity.

In recognition of Arnold Viloria’s honesty, Mayor Bona Fe de Vera Parayno praised him for bringing honor to the town of Mangaldan, emphasizing that his actions serve as an example of good character for the community. (Ahikam Pasion)
