POLICE seized around ₱13.6 million worth of shabu and arrested two high-value targets in an early morning buy-bust operation in Barangay Ilog-Malino, Bolinao on November 12.

The operation, conducted around 6:50 AM, was a joint effort of the PNP Drug Enforcement Group (DEG), Pangasinan Provincial Police Office, and the PDEA Pangasinan Provincial Office.

Authorities confiscated about 2,000 grams of suspected shabu, buy-bust money, and other items during the operation.

PNP Acting Chief P/Lt. General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., in a Facebook post,  praised the dedication of the operatives and emphasized that the operation is proof of the PNP’s unwavering campaign against illegal drugs.

PNP Spokesperson PBGEN Randulf Tuaño commended the teamwork among law enforcement units, saying their coordination is key in the fight against illegal drugs.

“The continued partnership between the PNP, PDEA, and local police proves that teamwork is our strongest weapon against illegal drugs,” Tuaño added

The arrested suspects are now under the custody of the Bolinao Municipal Police Station, while the seized evidence is secured at SOU 3, PNP DEG for documentation and further investigation. (Eva Visperas)
