‘BE A BREASTFRIEND’: FREE MAMMOGRAM FOR DAGUPEÑAS

SEVERAL women residents of Dagupan took the free clinical breast examination and mammography offered by the city government on October 21.
The service, organized by the City Health Office, led by Dra. Julita De Venecia, was part of the observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
THE pedestrian lanes at the AB Fernandez Avenue and Arellano Street crossing have been recently repainted to improve road safety.
At the same time, pedestrians were reminded to follow road rules, including waiting for the “walk” sign to light up, while drivers were called on to avoid idling or parking on the pedestrian lanes.

‘JUAN BAYANIHUB’ FOR OFWs LAUNCHED
THE first ‘Juan BayaniHub’ of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Satellite Office Region I, located at the Nepo Mall in Dagupan City, was formally opened on October 20. The facility is intended to bring services closer to Overseas Filipino Workers from the province and other parts of the region.
The launch coincided with the signing of a Convergence Memorandum of Agreement among local government units, including Mayor Belen Fernandez, and officials of the DMW, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, Department of Labor and Employment, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, and other partner agencies.
