BONUAN BOQUIG CLASSROOMS NOW FLOOD-PROTECTED

THROUGH the multi-stakeholder program Brigada Eskwela, the flooding problem in classrooms at the Bonuan Boquig Elementary School has been solved.

The city government provided the materials needed to elevate the classrooms. Dr. Agape Nabua and PTA President Desiree Lyn Marcella thanked Mayor Belen T. Fernandez for the quick response to their request.

JUNIOR CHILD HEALTH ADVOCATE ‘ACTIVATED’ AT BONUAN BOQUIG ELEM. SCHOOL

MAYOR Belen Fernandez activated the Junior Child Health Advocate program at the Bonuan Boquig Elementary School on September 18, together with the City Health Office led by Dr. Julita De Venecia, Teen Center led by Teen Center Manager Geraldine Custodio, Fr. Joseph Fernandez and seminarians from the Mary Help of Christians College Seminary.

The program aims to improve health awareness among the youth and tap them as an information source to identify the medical needs of their household members.
