Bayambang again named model LGU in 4Ps implementation
THE Bayambang Local Government Unit (LGU) was recognized anew as the Provincial Model LGU in implementing the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), reaffirming its commitment to improving the lives of program beneficiaries in the municipality.
The recognition highlights Bayambang’s dedication to advancing the welfare of 4Ps beneficiaries through innovative approaches and sustained efforts led by Mayor Niña Jose-Quiambao.
Her personal involvement in all matters concerning the conditional cash grants, as well as the initiatives she spearheaded to enhance its success, was credited as a key factor behind the achievement.
The mayor expressed gratitude to all departments, agencies, and sectors that contributed to the program’s success, particularly the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO).
