THE DAGUPAN City government’s relief operations are continuing, and one of the stops last week was Barangay Mayombo, where residents affected by flooding received aid packages.
Mayor Belen T. Fernandez joined the distribution along with Vice Mayor Bryan Kua, Councilors Michael Fernandez, Jigs Seen, Tala Paras, Jaja Cayabyab, Atty. Joey Tamayo, Marvin Fabia and Marcelino Fernandez, in coordination with disaster management and response teams, national government agencies, frontliners and the barangay council.
The relief operations aim to reach all of the city’s 31 barangays.

BARANGAY PANTAL RESIDENTS GET AID
AMID rains in the afternoon of July 27, Dagupan City officials – including Mayor Belen T. Fernandez, Vice Mayor Bryan Kua, and all the majority councilors – delivered relief goods in Barangay Pantal.
The operation is part of the Walang Gutom Program of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and was undertaken in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development Region 1 led by Director Marie Angela Gopalan.

RELIEF PACKS FROM GEP
RELIEF PACKS donated by the Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines (GEP) were distributed on July 27 to flood-affected families who evacuated to the City People’s Astrodome.
GEP Regional Division 1-Pangasinan Chapter President Engr. Philip Marklon B. Bataan, together with Regional President Engr. NIxon Zachary B. Fernandez, led the distribution in coordination with Mayor Belen T. Fernandez and the city government.
