FAMILIES EVACUATE TO ASTRODOME

SEVEN FAMILIES composed of 34 individuals from Barangay Lasip Grande and Pogo Chico sought temporary shelter last week at the Dagupan City People’s Astrodome as their houses were chest-deep in floodwater after the nearby river swelled and the water level was continuing to rise.

Services are provided at the evacuation center by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), City Nutrition Office, and City Health Office.

BFP, EMERGENCY RESPONDERS TO THE RESCUE!

OFFICERS OF the Bureau of Fire Dagupan led by FCInsp. Jhun Elan Wanawan waded into floodwaters to rescue two families in Barangay Lasip Grande and evacuated them from their home to the Dagupan People’s.

The firefighters were working with the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) Office and Barangay DRRM Council.
