Calasiao VM elected league president
CALASIAO Vice Mayor Kevin Roy Macanlalay was voted unopposed as the new president of the Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines (VMLP) Pangasinan Chapter during its elections held on July 15, 2025, at the PESO Social Hall in Lingayen.
The election was attended by 39 vice mayors from across the province.
Macanlalay follows in the footsteps of his father, former Calasiao Mayor and Vice Mayor Roy Macanlalay, who also once served as president of the group.
Other elected VMLP Pangasinan Chapter officials are: Lingayen VM Jay Mark Crisostomo, vice president; Bayambang VM Ian Camille Sabangan, secretary general; Sta. Barbara VM Bobby Barbiran, treasurer; Rosales VM John Isaac Kho, auditor; and Basista VM Jake Niccole Perez, public relations officer.
The Board of Directors is: VMs Maximo Millan (Sual), Edgardo Fontelera (Dasol), Edgar Mamenta (Binmaley), Melchora Arenas-Yaneza (Labrador), Anthony Penuliar (Mapandan), Domyciano Ching (Manaoag), Bryan Louie Balangue (Binalonan), Jose Benedict Lopen̈a (Laoac), Maricon Vindy Operania (San Nicolas), and Ma. Luisa Supnet (Natividad).
The newly elected officials took their oath before 2nd District Representative Mark Cojuangco. The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Pangasinan, led by Provincial Director Virgilio Sison, facilitated the elections. (Eva Visperas)
